Financial Analyst (Brussel)

As a Financial Analyst, your role is to ensure top quality analysis to prepare budget & planning as well as to provide adequate support and advice for top management decisions. You will be responsible of the people management of a small team.

Tasks

Budgeting & planning
- Preparation of long-term plans (3 to 5 years)
- Preparation of annual budgets
- Preparation of quarterly forecasts
- Assists in OLAP design and maintenance

Financial decision support
- Analyses cost, revenue and balance sheet developments
- Discusses cost, revenue and balance sheet developments with enablers and leaders
- Prepares, validates and discusses reports for enablers and industry/service leaders
- Benchmarking territory financial data
- Initiating projects for performance enhancement
- Identification of business drivers & cost drivers

Project follow-up
- Analyses and comments on capital expenditure
- Analyses and comments on investments

People Management
- Organises workload between the team members
- Manages staff performance
- Coaches and gives them the opportunity to develop themselves

Profile

- Master's degree in Economics
- At least 5 years of experience in controlling & analysis with the aim of providing decision-making support
- Experience in people management (a small team)
- Computer knowledge and experience with CPM, ERP and Excel
- You are perfect bilingual Dutch/French and fluent in English
